Appearance note: The film looks darkest while the backing liner is attached. It appears lighter after the liner is removed and lighter again after installation on glass because transmitted light contributes to its appearance. Perceived color also changes under different lighting, so the film on its backing liner is not a reliable reference for the final installed look.

Privacy note: This film provides moderate visual privacy; it does not provide high, complete, or 100% privacy. Results vary with viewing distance, the design’s colors and pattern, and the lighting on each side of the glass. When a room is brighter than outside—especially at night—silhouettes or parts of the interior may be more visible. Pair it with curtains or blinds where stronger privacy is needed.

Where to Use It

Designed for indoor use in homes, offices, and retail spaces on flat, smooth glass windows, glass doors, and similar glass surfaces. It is not suitable for frosted, textured, embossed, or uneven glass.

In bathrooms, install the film only on the outer, dry side of the glass, away from direct shower water and body wash. Do not use it inside a shower enclosure, in areas exposed to prolonged direct spray, or where it may be immersed.

How to Install

Clean the glass thoroughly. Rough-cut the film with about 1.2–2 in (3–5 cm) of extra material around the edges, then wet the glass generously with plain water. Remove the backing liner, wet the smooth cling side, and position it on the glass. Squeegee water and air from the center outward, trim the excess, and leave about a 1/8–3/16 in (3–5 mm) gap between the film and the window frame or glass sealant. Finish with a second squeegee pass and wipe the area dry.

Care, Removal, and Reuse

Wipe the exposed surface with a wet wipe or cloth. Avoid excessive water, and try to keep water and dirt from reaching the cling side through the edge gaps.

To remove the film, lift a corner or edge and peel it slowly from the glass. Because it uses adhesive-free static cling, normal removal from an approved flat, smooth glass surface does not leave sticky adhesive residue. The film can be used a second time if the cling side stays clean and free of dust and oil.

For storage, place the smooth side of the film against the smooth side of the original backing liner and roll them together. If the cling side becomes dirty, clean it with a wet wipe or soapy water and let it air-dry before reuse.

Planning for More Than One Roll

When multiple rolls are installed side by side, exact edge-to-edge alignment is not guaranteed. Roll start positions may vary, and on-site trimming or adjustment may be needed.
