This Privacy Policy describes how Fancy Zhejiang Innovative Materials Co., Ltd., doing business as FancyFix ("FancyFix," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes personal information when you visit or use fancyfix.shop, place an order, communicate with us, or otherwise interact with our services (collectively, the "Services").

Personal information we collect

Depending on how you interact with the Services, we may collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Contact and account information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, billing address, shipping address, and account or profile information.
  • Order and transaction information, such as products purchased or considered, order history, discounts, payment status, shipping and fulfillment details, cancellations, refunds, and customer-service records.
  • Payment-related information. Payments are processed by payment providers. We may receive limited billing information, payment status, transaction identifiers, and fraud-screening results, but we do not directly receive or store your complete payment-card number.
  • Communications and submitted content, such as Chatty conversations, customer-service emails, reviews, questions, and photos, videos, or descriptions that you choose to submit.
  • Device and website activity, such as IP address, browser type, device and advertising identifiers, cookie or pixel identifiers, referring pages, pages viewed, searches, cart activity, and interactions with the Services and our communications.
  • Marketing preferences and approximate location, such as subscription and opt-out choices, advertising interactions, product interests inferred from browsing activity, and approximate location derived from an IP address or shipping information.

How we collect personal information

We collect personal information:

  • Directly from you, including when you place an order, create or use an account, subscribe to communications, contact us, use Chatty, submit a review, or provide claim evidence.
  • Automatically, through cookies, pixels, tags, logs, and similar technologies when you use the Services or interact with our advertising or communications.
  • From service providers and business partners, such as Shopify, payment providers, fulfillment and delivery partners, customer-support tools, review services, analytics providers, advertising partners, and fraud-prevention providers.

How we use personal information

We may use personal information to:

  • process payments, orders, fulfillment, shipping, cancellations, refunds, and after-sales requests;
  • create and maintain accounts and provide website and order-status functions;
  • respond through email and Chatty, maintain customer-service records, and transfer a conversation to an authorized team member;
  • provide search results, product recommendations, and personalized AI-assisted shopping experiences;
  • analyze use of the Services and improve our products, pages, operations, support, and customer experience;
  • send marketing communications, display advertising, and measure advertising performance where permitted by law and consistent with your available choices; and
  • prevent fraud, protect customers, accounts, and the Services, resolve disputes, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations.

AI-assisted features and automated tools

Chatty and other AI-assisted tools may analyze your questions and interactions to answer frequently asked questions, recommend products, assist with order-related inquiries, and route you to a human team member. These tools may explain approved FancyFix policies, but they do not independently make final, binding decisions about refund eligibility, compensation, warranty coverage, disputes, or your legal rights. Those determinations are made by authorized FancyFix personnel. Payment, security, and fraud-prevention providers may separately use automated tools under their own policies.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

We and our providers use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies for functions such as operating the Services, remembering preferences, understanding site performance, measuring advertising, attributing sales, preventing fraud, and delivering or personalizing advertising.

Analytics, advertising, and affiliate partners may collect identifiers, device information, and online activity through the Services and may combine that information with activity from other websites or apps for measurement, attribution, audience creation, or personalized advertising. The availability and operation of these technologies can depend on your location, browser, consent choices, and our current service configuration.

We do not sell personal information for monetary compensation. We may disclose certain identifiers, device information, and online activity to analytics and advertising partners for measurement, attribution, and personalized advertising, subject to applicable consent and opt-out choices.

You can manage available advertising and data-sharing choices through Your Privacy Choices in the footer of the Services. You may also adjust browser settings to block or delete cookies, although doing so may affect some functions. Where available through our privacy controls, we recognize Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as requests to opt out of data sharing or targeted advertising.

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting. Because there is currently no uniform industry standard for responding to DNT signals, our website does not respond to DNT signals.

How we disclose personal information

We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients when reasonably related to the purposes described in this Privacy Policy:

  • Ecommerce platform and hosting providers, including Shopify, for storefront, checkout, account, order, and platform operations.
  • Payment providers for payment processing, refunds, transaction confirmation, and fraud prevention.
  • Production, warehousing, fulfillment, and delivery partners for production, packaging, shipping, delivery, and issue resolution.
  • Customer-support, email, and review tools, including tools that host conversations, communications, product reviews, or customer feedback.
  • Analytics, advertising, and affiliate marketing partners, including providers such as Google and Meta, for analytics, attribution, audience measurement, and personalized advertising, subject to available privacy choices.
  • Security, fraud-prevention, professional, and legal recipients when reasonably necessary to protect the Services or another person, investigate misuse, resolve a dispute, enforce an agreement, complete a business transaction, or comply with law, legal process, or a valid government request.

We disclose only information reasonably related to the applicable purpose. This does not give a recipient an unrestricted right to use personal information, although some recipients may act under their own privacy policies and legal responsibilities.

Payments

Payment providers process payment credentials and may collect personal information directly from you under their own privacy notices. FancyFix generally receives the information needed to confirm, manage, refund, and reconcile a transaction rather than your complete payment-card number. Please review the privacy information presented by your selected payment provider when appropriate.

Customer-service materials and reviews

Photos, videos, labels, packaging images, and descriptions submitted as evidence for a support request are used to investigate and resolve the related order or product issue and may be used internally to improve quality, fulfillment, and support. Submitting those materials for support does not authorize us to use them in advertising.

A review that you intentionally submit for publication may appear on a review page or the relevant product page. We will seek separate, explicit permission before using a customer's photo, video, name, support materials, or review in advertising, social media, promotional email, or another marketing context beyond the context in which it was submitted.

International processing

FancyFix serves U.S. customers through a business based in China and works with service providers that operate in multiple countries. Personal information may therefore be transferred to, accessed from, or processed in China, the United States, and other countries where Shopify or our other providers operate. The privacy laws in those locations may differ from those in your location. Where required, we use reasonable measures intended to protect personal information in connection with international processing.

Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing the Services, maintaining order and business records, meeting tax, accounting, and legal obligations, preventing fraud, protecting security, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements. The retention period depends on the type of information, the purpose for which it was collected, and applicable requirements. When information is no longer reasonably required, we may delete or anonymize it, subject to lawful retention needs and routine backup practices.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. However, no transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use caution when sending sensitive information through email, chat, reviews, or other open-text fields.

Your choices and privacy requests

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information. You may be able to view or update some account information through your Shopify customer account.

For other privacy requests, email marketing@fancy-fix.com with the subject line Privacy Request. Describe the information and action requested and provide reasonable verification information, such as the email address associated with your interaction or an order number. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.

We may retain information when reasonably necessary or legally required for taxes, transaction records, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or another lawful purpose. If an exception applies, we will explain it when required.

To stop marketing email, use the unsubscribe link in the message or contact us. To manage personalized advertising or data sharing, use Your Privacy Choices in the footer of the Services.

Third-party services and links

The Services may link to or integrate with websites, applications, payment methods, social platforms, or services operated by third parties. Their handling of personal information is governed by their own privacy policies and practices. We encourage you to review those policies before providing information directly to them.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy and update the "Last updated" date. If a change materially affects our privacy practices or your rights, we will provide additional notice when required by applicable law.
