Custom Stained Glass Window Film

Create a custom window film based on your confirmed dimensions and final approved artwork. Each order can be configured as a decorative window film, a privacy window film, or both, depending on the final design.

Important order-specific note: Material, attachment method, size, panel quantity, privacy effect, and final appearance are confirmed separately for each custom order. The size and price currently displayed online are placeholders and are not the final specification or quotation for every order.

Customization Options

• Material: PVC or PET, confirmed per order.
• Attachment method: Static Cling or Self-Adhesive, confirmed per order.
• Size: Made to the customer-confirmed dimensions and final approved artwork. There is no catalog-wide fixed size.
• Design and function: Decorative, privacy, or a combination, based on the final confirmed design.

Static Cling or Self-Adhesive?

Static Cling: This option is adhesive-free. It can be removed and used a second time if the smooth cling side is kept clean and free of dust and oil. Save the original backing liner for storage. Unlimited reuse is not guaranteed.

Self-Adhesive: This option uses adhesive. It can be removed, but adhesive residue is possible and residue-free removal is not guaranteed. The self-adhesive version is not reusable.

Privacy and Appearance

Privacy is design-dependent and varies with the final artwork, color, coverage, viewing distance, and lighting on each side of the glass. We do not guarantee high privacy for every custom order, 100% privacy, blackout, whiteout, or complete nighttime privacy.

The film may look darkest while the backing liner is attached, lighter after the liner is removed, and lighter again after installation on glass. Final color and appearance depend on the approved artwork and actual lighting, and may differ from the design image.

Suitable Glass

Both attachment options are intended for flat, smooth glass on the film-contact side. Do not apply to frosted, embossed, textured, or other uneven glass surfaces. For double-pane, insulated, or Low-E coated glass, consult the glass manufacturer before installation; compatibility is not guaranteed for every glass product.

Installation and Care

Both options use a wet-installation sequence on flat, smooth glass. Clean the glass, rough-cut with about 1.2-2 in (3-5 cm) extra material, wet the glass and the film's glass-contact side, position the film, squeegee from the center outward, trim the excess, and leave about a 1/8-3/16 in (3-5 mm) gap from the frame or glass sealant. For Self-Adhesive film, foamy or soapy water is preferred when repositioning before the first squeegee pass; no fixed concentration is specified.

For routine care, wipe the exposed surface with a wet wipe or cloth. Avoid excessive water and try to keep water and dirt from reaching the attachment layer through the film edges.

Package Contents

The film dimensions and piece or panel quantity follow the final confirmed order specification. Unless otherwise agreed, the order includes one in-stock squeegee, one utility knife, and the instruction sheet for the selected attachment method. Special accessory requests follow the final confirmed order list.
